Ierasia Triandafillidi

Areas of Research/Expertise

Ierasia Triandafillidi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She obtained her Bsc, Msc and PhD from the same University under the supervision of Prof. Christoforos G. Kokotos. Her research interests lies in the field of asymmetric organocatalysis and in particular in the development of novel green and sustainable methodologies in Organocatalytic oxidation- activation of hydrogen peroxide, Photocatalysis and Organocatalysis. Moreover she studies the application of these fields in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, bioactive compounds and natural products. She has 15 publications is peer reviewed journals and she would like to get involved in applications of mechanochemistry.
