Areas of Research/Expertise

Synthesis of natural products and compounds with biological properties. During these efforts, we forced to invent novel, efficient and concise reactions in order to face scalability and regioselectivity issues. Towards these goals we have recently initiated projects in the ‘area of mechanochemistry’ as the green oxidations of sp3-allylic bonds based on MOFs and the biomimetic cyclization of polyprenoids based on porous materials.
